About
Tim Highfield
I’m a PhD research student in QUT‘s Creative Industries Faculty, studying (political) blogging in Australia and France, information flows and links between blogs and mainstream media, and the visualisation and mapping of such data. A lot of my reading and writing also looks at maps, sometimes far away from the internet side of my study! When I can, I try to get some music-related writing happening too.
…and then the world is a means for documenting my research progress, but also other things that I find while researching/browsing.
I can be found on facebook, linkedin, twitter, flickr, last.fm, the graduate junction, and various others. . Email is welcome through t dot highfield at qut dot edu dot au
